Baltic Renewable has been established in 2009 as a green joint venture consortium between Odys Shipyard in Gdansk and Resen Energy in Copenhagen.
Odys is a young well managed shipyard with 400 employees. They provide constructions in mild - and high strength steel, stainless steel and aluminium, which also cover tanks and tubing of special relevance to biogas systems.
Resen Energy is an engineering company specialised in renewable energy systems. The two companies have had a close and successful working relationship over the last 3 years and decided to expand their activities into biogas systems and cogeneration of electricity and heat, because of a big demand for new biogas systems in Poland. Already now the operational area has been expanded to all countries in Europe with favourable feed-in-tariffs on bio electricity and heat.
